VIJAYPUR, Aug 1: The inhabitants of Ward No 1, Vijaypur has castigated the lackadaisical attitude of the members and councilors of Municipal Committee (MC) Vijaypur, who they alleged have failed to address the various civic issues of the town so far.
The locals including Rahul Vaid, Papu Sharma, Pardeep Sharma, Ashok Kumar and Tarsem Lal said that the Municipal Committee was constituted with an aim to solve the problems being faced by the inhabitants but till date it has not able to address the public issues.
Neither the elected councilors nor administration are listening to the problem of the inhabitants, said residents adding that the street lights are non-functional for the past 2-3 months while the lanes and drains of ward are not properly clean.
The inhabitants urged the Governor to issue the direction to concerned authorities so that their to genuine problems get a solution otherwise they will be compelled to launch agitation against administration. |
