SRTC Retired Employees urge Governor to fulfil demands | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 28: SRTC Retired Employees Union today urged Governor's administration to fulfil their long pendind demands. Addressing a press conference here today S. Amrik Singh Sasan, Raja Munir Ahmed Chairman Employees Association, Deedar Singh Provincial President JKTUC organized a programme they as an organisation severed the purpose dedicatedly but now they are being ignored by the government. Raja Munir Ahmed informed the Press that they proceeded to Srinagar and met The Principal secretary- Planning, Principal Secretary-Finance and Principal Secretary- Transport and Managing Director JKSRTC on 18-09-2019 and put forth the issue related to Pension benefits of SRTC employees as the JKSRTC employees are also similarly situated as their counterparts in the JK Industries, Forest corporation etc. The memorandum of demands was also submitted. "We have met Advisor Governor, K Skandan at Convention Centre at Jammu on 20-09-2019 and apprised him of their issues such as (i) Arrears of DA and COLA w.e.f. year 1999(ii) arrears of 6th pay Commission. (iii) implementation of 7th pay Commission.(iv) Leave salary & gratuity of retired SRTC employees and (v) Pensionary benefits to employees of JKSRTC. The Advisor assured us that our issues would be examined for an early redressal", they said. |
