Terrorist involved in killing of Parihar brothers, RSS leader killed in 9 hour long encounter

Jammu, Sept 28: In a major success after unearthing the major Hizb terror module in Kishtwar District by the Jammu and Kashmir police by arresting six co-conspirators involved killing of Parihar brothers and RSS leader Chanderkant Sharma, his PSO-the security forces today in 9 hour long gun battle eliminated three top rank Hizb militants that rattled the peace in Kishtwar District in last one year by carrying out terror activities at its will in the heart of the Kishtwar town. In this encounter one army jawan also got martyred while around five police personal received minor injuries among which two were admitted in the hospital for treatment of the injuries.
As per the details available with "Early Times", the militants who were on run after security forces in Kishtwar District came down heavily on their OGW network and shrink their space to roam from one place to another today got trapped in Batote area of Ramban District some 110 KM from Kishtwar when they lodged a grenade attack on the Road Opening Party (ROP) of army near Darmund followed by firing as a result of which the army retaliate forcing the militants to flee from the spot.
As soon as the incident took place, the Jammu and Kashmir police and the army sounded alert and cordon the whole area and launched a massive search operation in the area and finally manage to trap the militants who entered into the house of some local BJP leader where they held the 70 year old elderly person who was later rescued by the security forces.
All the three militants were eliminated by the security forces after 9 hour long operation and were later identified as Osama Bin Javed, Zahid Hussain Sagar, both Resident of Dachhan Kishtwar involved in killing of BJP State Secretary Anil Parihar, his brother Ajeet Parihar, RSS leader Chanderkant Sharma, his PSO Rajinder Kumar beside was involved in weapon snatching incident involving PSO of DC Kishtwar and PDP District President Kishtwar while the 3rd militant has been identified as Bilal Ahmed Dar resident of Shopian.
The operation was successfully lead by SSP Ramban Mrs Aneeta Sharma along with Dy. SP Ramban Asgar Malik beside senior police officers including IGP Jammu Mukesh Singh, DIG DKR Bhim Sen Tutti, senior army and CRPF commanders also rush to the spot to monitor the operation that lasted for 9 hours.
During the course of the encounter, the traffic on Kishtwar-Batote stretch of Jammu-Kishtwar National Highway remain suspended for several hours and was cleared only after the operation was declared as closed.
Meanwhile Kishtwar police today produce two more accused identified as Mohammad Rafi Butt and Shabir Ahmed Giri, both resident of Poochal Kishtwar in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate who granted 4 days police custody of both the accused and with these arrest, the number of accused who were so far found involved in killing of RSS leader has reached six which include Azad Hussain, Nishad Hussain, Nissar Ahmed Sheikh and Tariq Hussain Giri who were already in police custody while another person identified as Rustum manage to give slip to the security forces who raided his house to arrest him.
