Maiden inter-collegiate cross country organized

Jammu, Sept 28: An Inter-Collegiate first cross country (Men & Women) race of Cluster University of Jammu was organised by the Department of Students Welfare on 28-09-2019 at Harki Pori. Prof. Anju Bhasin, Vice Chancellor and Chief Guest on the occasion flagged off the race. Prof Poonam Dhawan and Dr Jatinder Khajuria, Registrar Cluster University of Jammu also graced the event.Nearly about 60 athletes from different Constituent Colleges of Cluster University of Jammu took part in the above said race. In Men's section, Abhishek, Student of GGM Science College, Nitin Sharma Student of SPMR College of Commerce and Aman Choudhary student of MAM College won the Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals respectively.
In Women's Section, Miss Priya Sharma, Pallavi Saini and Rama Sharma from GCW Gandhi Nagar won the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.

Rana, Dean faculty of Arts, Prof. Bhupinder Singh, Dean Engineering and Computer Technology, Dr Twinkle Suri, Dean Students Welfare, Prof. Sunil Uppal, Dr Banpreet Kour,Associate Deans, Students Welfare Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator, CLUJ, Dr Sandhya Bhardwaj, NSS Coordinator,Dr Devinder Sharma, Dr Geetanjli Rajput and Dr Mansi Sharma, Asst. Deans, Assistant Deans, Students Welfare Sumnesh Sharma, Physical Director MAM College, Aijaz Malik Physical Director SPMR College of Commerce, Dr. Mandeep Singh, Physical Director, Govt. College of Education, Dr. Roopali Slathia, Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar, Pawan Giri, Assistant Physical Director, GGM Sc. College and Anil Kumar, Assistant Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar were present there.
The race was officiated under the supervision of Romesh Sharma and Sardar Gurcharan Singh Athletics Coach.
