DDC polls to revolutionize development in Jammu, Kashmir: Kavinder Gupta | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 4: District Development Council (DDC) polls in Jammu & Kashmir is going to revolutionize the development in J&K as these will ensure completion of three-tier Panchayati Raj, said Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister of J&K, while he also pressed on importance of party's departments in service of common masses. Kavinder Gupta accompanied by former Minister & Incharge BJP Headquarter Priya Sethi was chairing a meeting of party leaders at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. J&K BJP Incharge District Office Construction & JMC Councillor Parmod Kapahi, Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Library Incharge Kulbhushan Mohtra, Training Incharge Parneesh Mahajan and Documentation Incharge Naresh Jasrotia participated in the meeting. Kavinder Gupta while addressing the meeting said that the recently held DDC polls in J&K is going to revolutionize the track of development in rural J&K as these will ensure completion of three-tier Panchayati Raj. It has also secured ground in handing over power to people to be used in the best interest of development at ground level, he said. Gupta said that soon all the Districts of Jammu & Kashmir will get the DDC Chairmen providing direct touch of common masses with the administration. The issues of the common masses will no longer go unattended like before, he said. He asked the leaders heading the party departments to work in unison and concentrated manner while planning every action keeping in mind the welfare of the common masses. He said that it is the 1st duty of the party departments to create a perfect atmosphere of synchronicity in between the general public and the organization so that every voice form the public gets heard at the decision making level. Priya Sethi highlighted the ways to increase the compliance in between the party departments and the masses and stressed on the role to keep activists updated, general masses informed about party policies and welfare schemes and providing people an appropriate platform to air their views. |
