RAJOURI, Feb 4: The Covid-19 vaccination drive was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Koteranka Surender Mohan Sharma during an impressive function organized by Block Medical Officer, Kandi, Dr Iqbal Malik.
On the occasion, the first shot was administered to BMO Kandi, followed by Ayoub Lone Community Health Officer and other doctors and nursing staff.
Around 100 health workers including Doctors, Paramedics besides other supporting staff received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at two vaccination sites
CMO, Rajouri, Dr Shamim Bhatti informed that all protocols pertaining to vaccination programs and Covid-19 guidelines are being followed. An AEFI room has been set up at each site to address any post-vaccination adverse effects besides special measures have been taken for the proper disposal of biomedical waste. All the Employees, ASHA Workers, and AWWs enlisted today for vaccination came forward one after the other with high enthusiasm and keenness without any fear and fright. |
