JAMMU, Feb 14: In continuation to the Jan Sampark Abhiyan initiated by Congress in the Old city of Jammu, Congress leaders visited various streets of Purani Mandi, Jain Bazaar, Pacca Danga and Kaali Janni area.
Led by senior Congress leader Varun Magotra these leaders took stock of the various problems being faced by the residents and assured that such issue will be put forth before the concerned officers of various departments.
Dilapidated conditions of streets, shortage of drinking water and regular cuts in power supply were the main issues highlighted by the people.
Varun Magotra criticized the BJP corporators and government for the negligence and said the present dispensation has failed to provide the basic amenities to the people of Old City.
Prominent among those who accompanied Magotra were Vishal Khajuria, Bhanu Rajput, Rajat Sharma, Sunny Kumar, Yuvi Jamwal, Prince Khajuria, Aman Kumar, Vikram Jamwal and many more.
