| Online Yoga Geet competition held | | |

Jammu, June 19: As a part of ongoing week long online activities to memorialize 7th International Yoga Day 2021, NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College, R. S. Pura organized an Online Poetry Recitation / Yoga Geet Competition under the patronage of the worthy Principal, G.S. Rakwal and supervision of Prof. Bindu Kumari, NSS Programme Officer.
Students participated enthusiastically in the activity, recitated enthralling poems on the importance of yoga and sang melodious yoga geet expressing the benefits of yoga practices in the holistic development of body, mind and spirit. Ekta Choudhary of sem. 6th bagged first postion, Sourav Sharma of sem. 6th bagged 2nd position whereas Ririk Raina of sem 1st bagged 3rd position. The Principal of the college encouraged the students to inculcate yoga in their daily routine and cherished the efforts of NSS unit of the college for organising the event.
