| Powergrid provides support to district admin in CSR initiatives | | |

Jammu, June 19: Kailash Rathore, Executive Director, Powergrid Northern Region-II handed over Nine (09) nos. Oxygen Concentrators to Anshul Garg, Deputy Commissioner, Jammu today. These Oxygen Concentrators have been given under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of POWERGRID with the fund amounting Rs 4.5 lacs.
This initiative of Powergrid will help in augmenting health infrastructure of Jammu. It will help increase number of beds with oxygen facility to tackle the emergent situation owing to Covid-19.
Speaking on the occasion, Rathore reiterated Powergrid’s commitment in contributing to general well being of society. He also apprised about such assistance given to various district authorities during Covid -19 situations within the region.
On the behalf of District administration, Jammu Rakesh Dubey, ADC (Jammu) and Satish Sharma, ADC (Jammu) and other senior officials of POWERGRID were also present on the occasion. With the adoption of latest technological tools and techniques, enhanced use of automation and digital solutions, Powergrid maintained average transmission system availability of 99.83%. |
