Jammu, June 19: Federation of All India Vyapar Mandal Jammu (FAIVM) J&K unit today met Deputy Commissioner Jammu province and ADDC Jammu province, the memorandum presented by Sanjay Bansal, President, FAIVM J&K Unit along with Arun Sharma, Ajay Ahuja, Bhishambar Dass and Pranab Dutta as well as all other units of FAIVM Jammu province i.e.; Jammu, Udhampur, Rajouri, Poonch, Kishtwar, Doda, Samba, Ram ban and Reasi also presented their demand for relief package to Deputy Commissioner of their districts and requested the DC to present their memorandum to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to consider the demand of relief package and all Bazaars and Shops should be open immediately to safeguard shopkeepers from more losses. The Government of Jammu has just begun to unlock in the phased manner and the traders are suffering badly for their survival of the businesses. States like Gujarat have taken a wonderful step of waiving of property taxes, and fixed electricity charges since the lockdown has levied from year 2020. The businesses of Jammu have hit hard due to covid, and businesses have been suffering since then. |
