AP will project statehood, domicile rights at any meeting with PM | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, June 19: Welcoming any meeting between political parties with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Apni Party(AP) on Saturday said if an invitation is extended to party it will project Statehood, Domicile Rights, and other demands. AP General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir welcomed any possible meeting between the political parties of Jammu and Kashmir with PM Modi in New Delhi said a major political outreach effort is urgently required. ''We will welcome all the essential measures towards expediting the political prospects in J&K'', Mir said in a statement this afternoon. He asserted that if an invitation to meet with the key portfolio holders in New Delhi is extended, ?Statehood, Domicile Rights, and other demands would be projected on the Party's end,? Mir informed. Mir declared that the development of Jammu and Kashmir is critical at all times, and that the central government needs to widen its political horizons for the benefit of the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir. He also agreed that giving a forum to Jammu and Kashmir's leaders would be a key public-interest matter that people have been anticipating for a long time now. ?We will address the collective ambition for the holistic progress and development of J&K,? Mir observed. He further stated that participating in an all-party meeting will help to improve the long-stalled political situation in Jammu and Kashmir. |
