| Online declamation contest held | | |

Jammu, June 19: 2 J&K BN NCC and 2 J&K Girls BN NCC, Jammu of Government Degree College R.S. Pura organized an Online Declamation Contest to celebrate 7th International Yoga Day under the guidance of the Principal Dr. G.S. Rakwal and supervision of Dr. Chetan Sharma, ANO Boys NCC and Lt. Shaveta Chowdhary, ANO Girls NCC.
The idea of Declamation Contest was based on this year’s theme Yoga for Well-being. A total of 20 Boys NCC cadets and 20 Girl NCC Cadets participated in the online contest with full zeal and enthusiasm. Cadet Jasbir Singh from Boys Bn bagged the first prize where as Cadet Gurpreet Kour from Girls Bn bagged second prize.
The third prize was jointly shared by Cadet Sanchi Chib and Cadet Tanveer Singh. The principal of the college appreciated the participation of the cadets in such activities especially during Corona time, for better understanding of Yoga in maintaining healthy lifestyle. |
