| GDC Kathua organizes slogan writing competition | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, Aug 11: In continuation to the fortnight activities under Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav NSS units of Government Degree College (GDC), Kathua today organized Slogan writing competition on the theme Slogans used by freedom fighters during the National Freedom Movement.
Seventeen participants from NSS and NCC took part in the Slogan writing competition. Sheetal Devi's slogan writing poster was adjudged as first. Slogan writing poster's of Kashish and Nitish Pansotra were adjudged as second.Laxmi Devi's and Bavita devi's slogan writing posters were adjudged as third.Consolation prizes were given to Malvika Sharma, Tania Jasrotia and Jarnish Bandral. Dr.Shub Kumar Head Sanskrit Department, Prof Rajneesh Isher Head Political Science Department and Dr. JB Singh Director Sports and Physical Education were acted as judges in the competition. This fortnight programme is being organized under the guidance of Prof. Assa Ram Sharma, Principal GDC Kathua and under the supervision of Prof Manmohan Singh and Prof Ritu kumar Sharma Programme Officer, NSS unit of GDC Kathua.The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Prof Neha Bandral. |
