| GDC Dudu Basantgarh organizes slogan writing competition | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Jan 22: Govt Degree College (GDC) Dudu Basantgarh, under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, organized an Intra-College slogan writing competition on "Cyber Crime" today. Many students took part in the competition and tried to convey a strong message by writing slogans: "Cyber crime is the way to tail, cyber security is the way to avail", "Think twice before you swipe", "Protecting your privacy is our priority" etc. Through their slogans, students of the college guided the other students and general masses to be cautious regarding cyber security and privacy and protection of their data.
On the basis of best slogan, Santosh Kumari (Sem-3rd) secured the first position whereas Poonam Devi (Sem-3rd) and Akriti (Sem-3rd) got the second and third position respectively.
While reflecting on the theme of the slogan writing, worthy principal of the college Dr Bhavnaish Chand also threw light on the importance of cyber security and data protection in a techno-centric and technocratic world. He further directed and advised the students to be careful while visiting any site or sharing their passwords, logging in pins, ATM number and secret keys etc.
Under the guidance of the Principal, Dr Bhavnaish Chand the competition was successfully organized by Prof. Pradeep Kumar Kundal (Organising Secretary) and Prof. Rahul Sharma and Prof. Vijay Kumar (Coordinators). At the end principal of the college congratulated all the winners. |
