Advocate Mohammad Akram expresses concern over dilapidated condition of Peer Kho area | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 22: Activist Advocate Mohammad Akram in a press statement said that the pathetic condition of ward lanes and drains are big matter of concern for residents of Peer Kho as inhabitants many times raised the issue regarding the worrisome condition before the concerned authorities but till date no action has been taken. Akram said the ward is located at half of kilometer distance to Deputy Commissioner's office. He said the area has religious significance as the ancient temple of Lord Shiva is present there along with the Gandola cable car project, royal skating club and park of Shiv temple. He said he wrote a letter to LG for redressal of the grievances adding that no action has been done so far. Akram lambasted JMC and other concerned authorities for their negligence and said residents are continuously suffering due to worrisome and unpleasant condition of streets in the ward but these agencies are slept over matter since long. |
