SRINAGAR, Mar 9: The body of a 37-year-old man was fished out from a river at Mawer area of Handwara on Wednesday, local authority said. They said the body of Mohammad Amin Bhat of Langate, who drowned in the river while extracting sand on March 7, has been fished out from the river at Handwara in north Kashmir's Kupwara district. The body has been taken to Sub-District Hospital Handwara for post-mortem. The body will be handed over to its legal heirs for last rites, they added. |
