| Strange! Pay Rs 30 for parking but MC Anantnag is not responsible for damage or theft | | |

Anantnag, Mar 9: One has to pay Rs 30/ for parking a vehicle in a parking place set up at Janglat Mandi in Anantnag but the receipt issued by the Municipal Committee mentions that it’s not responsible for any damage or theft of the parked vehicles.
“If the management is not responsible for the safety and security of our vehicles then why should we park our vehicles in the parking lot and pay for it,” asked a car owner.
People demanded that the Municipal Council Chairman and the Executive Officer of the committee should take a note of it and get these receipt books cancelled.
“One parks his vehicle in a parking lot for safety and security and pays for it.
The people managing this facility need to bear this fact in their mind,” locals said. |
