Jammu, Aug 12: An 'influential' police cop, who was shifted to another district on complaint basis nearly 10 days back, has as yet not joined his new place of posting.
"He continues to defy the order of his senior officer and has been adopting various tactics to get his transfer order cancelled," police sources alleged.
He was transferred to Samba district vide August 2, 2016 order No 273 of the SSP, Jammu.
A total of eight cops were transferred. Of them, five were shifted on complaint basis, sources alleged, saying that all, except the influential cop, had joined their new places of posting.
The incharge of the police post, in which he was posted, was also transferred on complaint basis. He had been relieved, sources said. |
