Sham's statement aimed at minimizing BJP effect in Jammu? | Demand for Hindu Chief Minister | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 22: Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) seems to have been pushed to the wall after Congress Minister Sham Lal Sharma dropped the political bombshell when he called for a Hindu Chief Minister in Jammu and Kashmir. The BJP was looking forward to the August 25 function of Kathua when its national president Amit Shah will be visiting the state first time after assuming the chair. The BJP in J&K is moving with the mission 44+ and Amit Shah's visit to the state is seen a step towards fulfilling their dream which looks difficult but not impossible. Shah is expected to raise the pitch for Hindu Chief Minister in Jammu and Kashmir from Jammu but all his move was hijacked by the Congress Minister well before his visit to the state. The Congress Minister has left BJP empty handed after he dropped the bombshell as BJP has nothing new to offer to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Sharma has already touched all issues pertaining to people of Jammu region, especially disparity, Hindu CM and discrimination and now BJP will be in a fix what to offer to the people. "It seems a well planned move by the Congress Minister belonging to Jammu region who has always stood against the discrimination with Jammu region and has given tough time to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Cabinet meetings and elsewhere," said a political analyst. Sharma's statement is all set to help the Congress party in Jammu plains, Samba, Kathua and Udhampur where BJP has got maximum number of votes during Lok Sabha elections and Congress faced a strong setback. The Congress Minister has asked its party members to take this message of Hindu Chief Minister to people, with an aim at hitting the BJP. "He is aware of the fact that Congress has lost its ground in Jammu plains and if the party wants to regain it, they must have to hit the bull's eye. This is a step towards achieving better results in upcoming elections," the political analyst said. |
