PM arrives to address election rally at Kishtwar today | Security at highest alert | | Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Nov 21: Prime Minister of India Narindra Modi is arriving at Kishtwar tomorrow to address it's first election rally in the state of Jammu and Kashmir going to poll in five phase beginning from 25th of November 2014. The PM Modi is expected to arrive at Kishtwar at around 11 AM and will accompanied with Ram Madav and MP Jughal Kishore while MoS in Prime Minister Office Dr. Jatindra Singh is already in Kishtwar to look into the arrangements of the rally, besides to finalized the local issues to be raised in the rally by the PM in his speech. While talking to "Early times" Deputy Inspector General of Police Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban range Ashkoor Wani said that all security arrangements were put in place for PM visit. "Our security personals are already on job in connection with security of ensuring free and fair elections and in between the visit of honorable PM finalized and we did not need to do much more exercise " said Ashkoor Wani. He said that in addition to security cover, NSG security is also taking care of the security of the PM. Earlier Director General of Police K Rajindra also visited Kishtwar and held a security review meeting at Helipad Kishtwar with local police and senior officials of other security agencies. IGP Jammu Rajesh Kumar, DIG Ashkoor Wani, SP Kishtwar Yougal Manhas and other senior officers from army and paramilitary forces were also present in the meeting. K Rajindra also visited the venue and issued necessary directions to the concerned security agencies. |
