PTU demands regularization of SPOs, VDCs | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 28: Jammu and Kashmir Panthers Trade Union (PTU) today demanded from government to regularization of SPOs and VDCs across the state. According to press release, PTU General Secretary Sewa Singh Bali said the SPOs and VDCs who were working for the last more than 15 years and presently the SPO were paid amount of Rs. 3000/- per month and with the result they are facing a lot of financial constraints on this meager salary. "The demand is for a long time and are wondering for pillar to post for their regularization of their services being having stay of more than 15 years", they said and adding that the matter has been already taken up with the DGP, on August 22, 2014 but till date no action has been taken in this regard. They further said that the Union government has started four lane National Highway from Nashri towards Banihal and were falling in District Ramban and the youth of the Ramban were wondering from pillar to post in search of job and the youth of the said district may be given priority for engagement upto 90 percent in the companies in whose favour the construction of four lane has been entrusted by the Government i.e. IFCON, IRCON, JP AND HCC as the youths of the said hilly district are well versed with the area, so that they may be get the justice to that they may feed themselves and their family members at this crucial juncture. Neeraj Gupta Joint Secretary, Shakeel Ahmad Wani District President Ramban PTU, Naveen Bali Office Secretary were also present on the occasion. |
