JKAACL organizes "All India Urdu Mushaira" 1/28/2015 10:40:24 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 28: Celebrating 66 Republic Day, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, today organized "All India Urdu mushaira" at Jammu Club, Jammu. In the mushaira prominent poets from all corners of the country participated in the mushaira that enthralled the audience present in the Hall of Jammu Club. Senior most poets Janab Farooq Nazki , Arsh Sehbai and Asghar Velorvi were in the presidium In his presidential address, senior most national acclaimed poet, Farooq Nazki welcomed the poets especially who have come across the country and congratulated to all the poets who have participated in this mushaira. He appreciated the efforts of the Academy in promoting the Art, Cultural and Languages of the State. Earlier while welcoming the audience, Haroon Rashid Secretary of the Academy said that the All India Urdu Mushaira is a regular activity of the Academy which is organized every year in connection with Republic Day Celebrations with an aim to have interaction of the local poets with the National level poets and they could know the literary values being adopted in their literary pursuits .This also sends a massage of harmony and brotherhood to the society.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
