CEO Rajouri suspends three teachers for unauthorized absence | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Jan 28: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri have placed under suspension three teachers for their unauthorized absence from their duties during his surprise visit to Budhal and Kotranka of the Rajouri district. According official sources one of the three has been placed under suspension following the directions from Deputy Commissioner Rajouri after locals have complaint that a Primary School at Danna (Darhal) was closed for the last many days as out of three teachers none is coming to attend duties. Ahead of Republic Day during surprise visits to various schools in Budhal and Kotranka tehsils , HA Fani, Chief Education Office (CEO) found irregularities and mismanagement in the government schools. Besides issuing several instructions for smooth functioning of the schools CEO also placed under suspension two teachers for their unauthorized absence and directed concerned Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) to get explanation from the teachers and furnish the report in his office. During his visit to primary school situated in village Sora Pani (Piri, EZ) he during inspection found that teacher Mushtaq Hussain was on unauthorized leave. Similarly Javed Ahmed teacher was also found on unauthorized leave in middle school at Mal Rehan. Meantime inhabitants of village Danna in Budhal Education Zone held a demonstration alleging that a government primary school in their village remained closed as none of the teachers ( one permanent, one ReT and another on attachment basis) visited school for over a fortnight forcing school to face closure. Following complaints, Jatinder Kumar Singh, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajouri has directed the CEO to seek explanation from the teacher and report to his office also. |
