JKPCC condemns Pakistan for repeated violations of cease fire | | | Jammu, Jan 31: JKPCC has expressed grave concern over huge sufferings being caused to the residents of border areas due to repeated cease fire violations by Pakistan in the recent months leading to causalities of civilians and security forces. In a statement Ravinder Sharma (MLC) Chief Spokesperson JKPCC strongly condemned Pakistan for repeated violations of cease fire targeting the civilian population residing near Indo-Pak border in recent months, which indicates the lack of respect of that Country to the International norms on civilian & human rights as also its lack of interest in the peace process with India. The Pakistan has escalated tension on the border during the past over six months in an attempt to draw attention of the Worlds Community towards Indo-Pakistan relations. However the present Government at the Centre has failed to put international pressure on Pakistan to desist from continued violence on the border leading to lot of sufferings & miseries to the large of people who are living always under constant fear of safety of their lives and livestock. He sympathized with the people along border and LOC especially those who suffered and got affected in the repeated incidents of firing. |
