Jammu, Feb 6 : Housing and Urban Development Department (H&UDD), Secretary, Satesh Nehru accompanied by K.L. Khajuria, and F.A. Quazi, today took stock of various projects being implemented under various schemes viz. UIDSSMT, IHSDP and state plan to ascertain the physical progress of several important projects ongoing on in MCs Bari-Barhmana, Ramgarh, Vijaypur and Samba.
According to press release, he issued on spot instructions to the concerned Engineering Wing and Executive Officers to gear up the implementation of the works to ensure timely completion of targets set for the year 2014-15.
Satesh Nehru, also visited the site identified at village Supwal, (Mandhera) Samba for establishment of Solid Waste Management Project and directed the concerned officers to fence the land and display a board on the site depicting particulars of the land used for the said project. While interacting with the Officers of the organization emphasize the need to work in close coordination and dedication to ensure the completion of all the works taken-up under various schemes in a stipulated time frame to avoid time/cost overrun so that the benefit percolates to the masses for whom the works are conceived. |
