srinagar, Feb 6: Violating Norms set by the High Court regarding regulation of Coaching centers, 550 coaching centers functioning illegally across Kashmir are yet to submit their undertakings with Registrar Judicial High Court. Coaching centers Mafia across Kashmir blatantly violatied norms set by the High Court, wherein it directed all the coaching centers to submit their undertakings before the Registrar Judicial High Court; but according to details received , these coaching centers are yet to follow the court directions. Chairman Coaching Centers Association Kashmir, GN Var while admitting that hundreds of unregistered coaching centers have become hubs of immoral activities in society and are functioning illegally in Srinagar, Budgam, Ganderbal, Anantnag, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam, Baramulla, Bandipora, Kupwara Districts and in major towns and Tehsil headquarters across Kashmir. He asserted that the Government was solely responsible for Mushrooming of unregistered coaching centers across Kashmir. "High Court issued guidelines which we appreciate and would abide by, but it was the job of government to ensure implementation of the guidelines set on ground which is not happening and around 550 unregistered, illegal coaching centers are functioning across Kashmir. He said that from last two days, around 100 coaching centers affiliated with CCA submitted their undertakings for adhering to rules laid down by the High Court and added that 'unfortunately despite a welcome move by the High court which warned that all such coaching centers should either close down their centers or oblige with the rules and regulations set for them, still hundreds of coaching centers are functioning illegally". Pertinently , Jammu and Kashmir High Court recently passed an order asking all coaching centers of Kashmir division to submit their undertakings that they will abide by the guidelines set and also warned them to close down coaching centers which does not follow the guidelines. The government had already framed rules vide order No: 435-Edu of 2010 dated April 30, 2010 under the Regulation of Private Coaching Centre Rules, 2010, to regulate the functioning of private coaching centers in the state. |
