Jammu, Feb 6 : Range Police Headquarters Jammu is launching special drive against drug trafficking in district Kathua, Samba and Jammu.
Shakeel A. Beig, DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range said that drive shall continue till the menace of drug trafficking is put on end completely. DIG Jammu further said that anti drug drive shall be launched in District Kathua, Samba and District Jammu from February 7, under Civic Action Programme.
During the drive Anti-Drug Rallies, Awareness Camps, Seminars, Painting competition will be held in urban as well as rural areas. All the territorial officers of Jammu Range shall be separately briefed to deal with the drug suppliers/drug mafia with iron hands and the king pin in the trade should be booked under Public Safety Act besides taking strict action and dismantling the local network of the drug peddlers. |
