| Jammu, Feb 6 : The Chief Education Officer, Kathua, T. R. Mangotra along with Narinder Singh Sambyal, DEPO Kathua visited/inspected various schools falling in Kathua & Barnoti Zones here today. During the visit, the Chief Education Officer, Kathua inspected Government Middle School (Girls) Barnoti, wherein it was found that total enrolment of the school were 41, out of which 37 present. Against the Sanctioned strength of 06 posts, 04 were filled up and all were present. The Mid Day Meal was also checked and found that MDM was prepared and served to the students as per the menu. The daily consumption register of MDM was also properly maintained. The overall sanitary condition of the school was good. The Chief Education Officer, Kathua also checked the academic side of the students which was also found good. Further, Chief Education Officer, Kathua visited MS (Boys) Barnoti, wherein it was found that total enrolment of the school were 51 and 44 were present. All the sanctioned posts were filled up and present. The Mid Day Meal was also checked and the Chief Education Officer, Kathua feel satisfaction over the implementation of scheme. Further the Incharge of the School were also directed to complete the toilet at the earliest so that the same be put in use for the students. Further, CEO Kathua visited Middle School Phalote PS Mahi Chack, High School Sumwan , PS Jamral , High Scchool Airwan of Zone Barnoti, and observed that the schools were functioning as per daily routine and the teachers were in the classrooms attending the classes. Functioning of other schools were also reviewed in the meeting. |
