PDP(Y) leader urges DC to save 'water bodies' in Samba Sunaina Malik (Rajouri) 2/6/2015 11:41:52 PM Vijaypur, Feb 6: Expressing serious concerns over the encroachment of conventional water resources like village ponds and etc by land mafia in connivance with real estate sector, the Zonal Youth President PDP Soni Sharma, today appealed to the Deputy Commissioner Samba to take action in this regard and clear the encroachments. In his appeal to Deputy Commissioner, Samba, PDP (Y) leader Sharma said that due to illegal encroachment all the ponds are facing serious threat and will become extinct in near future.Urging DC Samba to take stringent and necessary action against the encroachers immediately before its too late ate as these water bodies are not only life line of villages but also have their unique water life which will become extinct. He said PDP will start an agitation against the guilty and the administration if the district administration fails to take action in this regard.
