| Jammu, Feb 6: Domana Police claimed today to have recovered an abducted married woman from Himachal Pradesh, besides arresting her kidnapper. A case already stands registered in this regard under appropriate sections.
Police sources said that Sajad Ahmed of Bhaderwah presently at Gurha Bramana Jammu lodged a written report at Domana police station that his wife has been abducted by one Tanveer Ahmad.
“Accordingly, a case under FIR No 29/15 u/s 366 of RPC was registered and different teams were constituted by SDPO Domana Sanjay Parihar. "During investigations, a Police team headed by Deepak Katoch in-charge Police Post Chinore raided hide out of abductor at village Bhatti Tehsil Kumarson -Shimla and rescued the kidnapped woman and also arrested kidnaper, police sources said. Pertinent to mention prompt action of police resulted recovery of abducted lady within a week's time of her abduction. |
