PoK refugees to hold protest rally against BJP today 3/9/2015 11:21:16 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 9: The Pak Occupied Jammu & Kashmir Displaced People's Front (POJKDPF) will hold a protest rally tomorrow in front of Press Club of Jammu against the Bharatiya Janta Party's (BJP's) failure to fulfill its commitments to resolve the refugees' issues made during the General and Assembly elections. In a press statement issued here today, POJKDPF President Rachhpal Singh Chib said that the Front felt that the National Conference (NC) and Congress are not taking any interest to solve the 67 years long pending problems of the PoK refugees. He said that after more than 10 years of struggle, the POJK Refugee Front succeed in defeating these rogue political parties and provided unprecedented representation of BJP in the Parliament of India and J&K Assembly in the elections held in the year 2014. Chib further said they danced and celebrated the success of BJP led by Narinder Modi as DPs expected that their final settlement in the shape of political power, social upliftment and reservation for their wards in professional colleges and employment quota for their unemployed youth will now be provided. Instead BJP strengthened the hands of PDP and its patron Mufti Mohammad Syeed who is well known for being pro-Pakistani and sowing seeds of communalism, he added The Jammu Province has been handed over to terrorists who have always indulged in disintegration of India by inviting the terrorists from across the LoC. This action of the BJP would weaken the political strength of the party in Jammu province. The POJK DPs and people of Jammu Province feel that they have been cheated by the BJP and its leadership.
