Jammu, Mar 9: Contrary to agitated mood of the party and its workers on roads, one of BJP ministers Priya Sethi today quietly assumed office in the Secretariat amid religious rituals to augur auspicious feelings. While most of her party colleagues assumed office a week ago, Priya waited until today for auspicious occasion.
Sources said Priya was accompanied among others by her husband Yudhvir Sethi to Civil Secretariat . Before assuming her office, she performed puja nd other religious rituals in her office chamber along with her husband, sources said. While this is something normal for ministers to assume office early or late, most ironical aspect of the story is that it was Yudhvir Sethi who two days back was on the forefront of protests party staged against steps initiated by PDP towards release of Masarat Alam, he comfortably walked through the corridors of the Secretariat today in complete symphony with the echelons of power and those at the helm. |
