Jammu, Mar 9: Air Marshal Kulwant Singh Gill, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Air Command undertook an inspection visit of Air Force Station Jammu from 8 to 9 March 2015.
During the tour, the Air Marshal inspected various units and interacted with the troops and Field Commanders.
Air Marshal Kulwant Singh Gill was commissioned into the Flying Branch in 1977. In a career, spanning 36 years, he has held several distinguished appointments. He was an Instructor at Air Force Academy and a member of two Antarctica Expeditions.
During visit, the Air Officer shared his experience of handling complex and challenging missions with the troops there by motivating them to bring out their best in them. The visit was greatly successful in boosting the morale of troops deployed in highly Active Forward Areas near Jammu. |
