Landslide at Sanasar
18 families evacuated to safer places

RAMBAN, Mar 9 : District administration Ramban under the guidance of District Development Commissioner Ramban Farooq Shah Bukhari acted vigorously and evacuated eighteen families whose houses were washed away in the land slide at Sanasar in Ramban district. The DDC acted promptly as soon as the news came to him and deputed the concerned Tehsildar to the spot and the families were moved to the safer tourism huts at Sanasar. It was informed that each family has been provided with 30 kgs of rice free of cost.
The DDC directed the BRO authorities to clear the road connectivity upto Sanasar so that blankets, tents and other assistance could be provided to the affected families who have been temporarily shifted in the huts.
