Temporary teachers protest for continuation of their service

Jammu, Mar 9: Men police personnel were stopping the female protesters, who were moving toward the Dogra Chowk, while temporary teachers protesting and demanding continuation of their service near the Press Club on Monday.
Number of protesters assembled and shouting slogans with carrying banners, the protesting temporary teachers were demanding continuation of their services. They appealed the Education Minister for resolving their demands of continuation on humanitarian basis as soon as possible otherwise association would go for indefinite hunger strike. They informed that they were engaged by cabinet in August 2014 in the department of education and selected among 60 thousands aspirants on merit basis across the state.
They further appealed to Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Mninister to make personal interference in this matter and resolve our senior demand on humanitarian basis.
