DLSA Kishtwar organizesworkshop 3/10/2015 12:39:17 AM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Mar 9: A work shop on "Lawsrelating to Women and amendment thereto" was organized by District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) at Kishtwarunder the Chairmanship of Bala Jyoti Chairman District Legal Services Authority(Principal District and Session Judge) Kishtwar, wherein District Development Commissioner, Mohd Javed Khan was chief guest and Superintendent of Police, Yougal Manhas was guest of honour. Bala Jyoti Chairman District Legal Services Authority gave power point presentation on "Laws Relating to Women and amendment thereto". The session was interactive and meaningful. All the Speakers highlighted the bullet points of the workshop. While speaking on the occasion, she apprised the participants about the increasing crime against women,changing laws and their need too. SSP Kishtwar Yougal Manhas focused on current lawsand punishment thereof. The District Development Commissioner emphasized on the various schemes of Free Legal Aid and appreciated the role of the District Legal Services Authority Kishtwar for organizing such activities.
