Kathua, Apr 4 : In a tragic incident, coal that was dumped for making bricks gutted due to fire which broke out at Diwakar Brick Kiln, Mahi chack Kathua, however no report of mishap has been received from the spot till last report. The brick kiln owned by Ravi Mehta has informed that the management had dumped coal of worth Rs 20 lakh for making bricks which was not used due to incessant rains in previous couple of day. The dumped coal suddenly got fire due to blast from inside the coal piles. The reason of fire is still to be found out. After getting information about the fire, Fire Brigade & Emergency deptt took action and rushed on spot to control the fire. |
