| Ministers keep BJP workers away | | |

Kishtwar, Apr 4: BJP workers raised slogans against police and security personnel for denying entry to them inside a helipad here on Saturday during the visit of the group of ministers who had arrived in this hilly district to access the situation arising out of heavy rainfall.
As per the details, the BJP workers led by senior youth leaders Sashi Badyal and Rocky Goswami raised the slogans against police and in charge helipad for allowing "selective people" to enter inside the protected area.
When contacted the officials in Kishtwar informed that the protest was an outcome of internal rivalry within the youth group of the BJP.
They added that instead of raising slogans against police and army personnel guarding helipad, BJP should address the issue within the party. The officials said that on the basis of the requisition from the concerned party heads, a sizeable number of BJP activists were allowed inside the protected area to welcome the visiting ministers. |
