Srinagar, Apr 12: All Jammu and Kashmir Displaced Youth Forum said that the Kashmiri Pandits youth employed under Prime Ministers Special Employment Package for their return and rehabilitation is mere joke that has been played with the community on the pretext of employment in the Kashmir Valley.
As per press release, Sanjay Koul chairman AJKDYF said that the initiative of employing Kashmiri Pandits youth under PM Package was the first step towards Kashmiri Pandits return to their homes and live an honorable and dignified life under the direct control of Government of India as the funds for their salaries etc are being allocated under security expenditure and till date the employees employed under the PM Package have not got their salaries on time and delay is not in days and it takes months together.
He said that the state as well as central government is befooling the people on rehabilitation of kashmiri Pandits in valley with honor and dignity as till date only politics is being played in the name of rehabilitation and nothing positive has been done for rehabilitating the 1900 employees who are working here for last 4 and half years then how it is possible for the government to rehabilitee the whole community. He said that before the implementation of the package the promises which were made by the government for providing various benefits like scholarship to children of employees ,Relief benefit for two years and all the basic facilities but unfortunately employees employed under PM Package for return and rehabilitation back to valley, but till date the same has not been implemented on grounds .
