Women up in arms against Laxmi Narayan Mandir Management 4/12/2015 11:28:51 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 12: Women residents of Gandhi Nagar today gathered in large number in front of Laxmi Narayan Mandir Gandhi Nagar and raised slogans against the present management of Laxmi Narayan Mandir Gandhi Nagar. On the occasion protesting women discusses further course of action against the illegal Management Trust of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple Gandhi Nagar and said that this present management having no mandate of residents of Gandhi Nagar Jammu. The so called Management Committee which was formed and headed by Gulchain Singh Charak, Ex Minister of state govt. and also Congress leader was formed only by a few vested interests among themselves through undemocratic ways with a motive of misusing Mandir properties for their own personal benefits. The said trust is hurting the religious sentiments of the believers of 'Sanatan Dharma'. On the occasion all protesting women took an oath to fight for the cause of relieving the management of Sh Lakshmi Narayan Temple Gandhi Nagar, and its assets from the clutches of the present Trust, by all means. They also demanded that the present Trustees should resign immediately and pave the way for conduct of fresh election as per the constitution framed by the founder members of the Mandir, involving all residents of Gandhi Nagar who have faith in 'Sanatan Dharma' otherwise devotees will be forced to take over the day to day religious affairs of the said mandir.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
