| Pak intruder killed in Samba by Bsf | | | JAMMU, Apr 30 : An unidentified Pakistani intruder was shot dead by the jawans of the BSF along the International border in Samba district of Jammu on Thursday.
The intruder dressed in green coloured pathani suit was visibly unarmed and carried a mobile phone with Pak SIM card, some Pak currency, two packs of cigarettes and some needles.
It is not clear whether he was pushed towards the Indian territory by the Pak rangers to carry out any reconnaissance or acting as guide of the group of infiltrators to dodge BSF jawans and check their alertness.
According to BSF sources the intruder was killed after he failed to pay attention to warnings by the BSF jawans.
The incident took place near Chilyari BOP in Samba sector around 8.50 a.m, official sources said. After the intruder was shot dead the BSF handed his dead body to the local police and they shifted him to the local hospital for carrying out post mortem. After the incident the BSF alerted its jawans in the same area to maintain tight vigil as they feared Pak rangers may retaliate to avenge the killing of Pak intruder later in the day. |
