| Employees of 12 departments found absent | | | Rajouri, Apr 30: A Tehsil level team constituted by District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Deepati Uppal to check/visit government offices frequently found employees on unauthorized absent from duties in 12 government offices at Tehsil Headquarter at Kotranka. Today at about 12:40 pm the team members paid surprise visits to various offices and to the surprise of the checking officers all most all the staff members in 12 offices were not present in the offices.
A detailed report was later send to District Development Commissioner for perusal and necessary action. Deepati Uppal, DDC vide her office order No PS/DDCR/work culture-1oo/2015-16 dt 30/4/2015 has directed all the concerned Controlling Officers to call the explanations from the employees found on unauthorized absence from duties and take necessary displinary action as required under rule. As per information provided by the officials at DDC's office only one guard namely Jamal Din was present in the office when inspection team visited the office of BDO at 12.40 pm while the team members found Tehsil Supply office locked as no employee was present there. Similarly no staff member was present at Sheep Husbandry office and at Tehsil Social Welfare office while only 2 Masters were present in the office of Zonal Education Officer's (ZEOs) office and only 1 clerk was present in the office of tehsil Agriculture office.
Inspection team found a peon and a Girdawar present in the Tehsil Revenue office, two linemen were available at Power Development office while except Liyakat Ali peon no staff member was present at tehsil Animal Husbandry Office at 1 pm. In the office of Sub Divisional Magistrate only one master namely Abdul Salam was on duty while Nassar Ahmed forester and a peon were present during working hours in the office of Range Forest Office. In the PWD office team members found Mohd Rafiq , peon on duty while all other employees were found on unauthorised absent. Deepati Uppal , DDC vide her office order has warned all the concerned Controlling Officer for an action against them if they failed to compliance her order and report within two days. |
