Youth stabbed in Miran Sahib on ongoing alleged 'gang war' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 22: In alleged ongoing gang war, a person hailing from Punjab was stabbed at Indira Nagar area, this afternoon by a group of youth. This is the second case of stabbing reported within 10 days by the same group of gangsters. "The injured youth has been identified as Balbir Singh alias Bindu Punjabi son of Shamshar Singh of Gurdaspur, Punjab presently staying at Talab Tillo, police sources said. Police sources said, "Bindu Punjabi was standing near Petrol Pump in Miran Sahib where a group of youth suddenly appeared in a car and inflicted injuries with sharp-edged weapons." Sources said, "Leaving the injured in a pool of blood the assailants managed to escape from the spot and after getting the information police reached the spot and shifted the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu where his condition was stated to be critical when last reports came in." Pertinently a 21 year-old youth identified as Sachin Singh alias Sunny of RS Pura was assaulted by the same group in Miran sahib area on May 12. Meanwhile when contacted, Umesh Naag Station House Officer (SHO), Miran Sahib briefly said that they have registered a case and investigations are on. |
