| Govt Polytechnic Jammu conducts placement drive | | |

Jammu, May 22:One week campus placement drive has been conducted at Government Polytechnic Jammu to provide the employment opportunities to the final semester and pass-out polytechnic students of Jammu division.
The companies who participated in the drive was UFLEX Pvt. Ltd Unit-II, SIDCO Industrial Complex Bari Barahmana, Mahindra And Mahindra (Swaraj Division, Mohali), Ericsson India Pvt Ltd, Sahaj-e Village Pvt Ltd, Multicare Services Pvt Ltd and Rooman Technologies Pvt Ltd and Indian Institute of Skill Development (IISD).
Eleven candidates from Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation branch got selected by Uflex Pvt Ltd. as Junior Engineer Trainee at the salary of Rs 10,000/- per month. The resource person from Uflex was Dheeraj Dawan and Jogesh Khanna who conducted the written test and interviews of the candidates
Mahindra and Mahindra (Swaraj Division Mohali), selected thirty five candidates of Mechanical and Automobile. RB Singh and Irfan Khan from Mahindra and Mahindra conducted the group discussion and interview of selected candidates. The selected students are placed at Mohali Plant of Mahindra and Mahindra as Diploma Apprenticeship Trainer and will be paid Rs. 8500/- stipend during the training.
The Sahaj-e Village Ltd, selected six students at the package of Rs 1.2 lacs per annum during the training as CCE, Back- end office operation and Promoters. Prithvi Singh was the resource person from Sahaj-e Village who conducted the drive. Multicare Services Pvt Ltd selected fifteen students for three month training at Mumbai and will be paid the stipend as per the norms of Udaan Scheme and after training they will be placed as Assistant Manager with minimum salary of Rs 15000/- . Praveen and Chetna conducted the interview of the students.
The Ericsson India Pvt Ltd selected twnty one students of Electrical and Electronics Branch. The drive was conducted by Sh. Farooq Ahmed and Sh. Tajinder Singh Raina from Ericsson.
Nineteen candidates from Computer Sciences, Information Technology and Electronics branch got selected for Rooman Technologies. The resource person from Rooman technology was Mr. Gaurav who conducted the interviews of the candidates. While in the drive of IISD, Eighty candidates appeared in the interview and twenty six students were selected for training.
Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal Govt Polytechnic Jammu thanked all the resource persons from the various companies for the campus placement of the students and impress upon the students to participate in the various placement drives with full enthusiasm and make full use of their professional & technical skills for employability to various organizations. The Placement Cell of Government Polytechnic Jammu, comprises of Er. Hameed Malik , Er. Rishab Gupta, Er. Sakshi Kapai, Er. Shabir Ahmed and Er. Reenu Kotwal made all the arrangements for the smooth conduct of campus placement drive at Govt. Polytechnic Jammu. |
