| Kichloo slams PDP-BJP for neglect of Kishtwar hospital | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, May 22: Former Minister of State for Home and Member Legislative Council Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo today slammed the PDP-BJP government for their neglect of the District Hospital Kishtwar.
In a press statement issued here today, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo said that the much hyped posting of over 20 doctors at District Hospital by the BJP minister proved to be a hollow slogan. He said that majority of doctors posted at District Hospital Kishtwar did not join their duties and if anyone among them joined, they proceeded for leave.
He said that many doctors who rendered their services generously in Kishtwar were transferred from District Hospital resulting into total failure of the health services in the Kishtwar District.
He added that due to transfer of local doctors; District Hospital Kishtwar has become a referral hospital. He said that it was not only people of Kishtwar who are facing the problem due to non availability of doctors, but people visiting from adjoining areas of Doda, Thatri, Gandow, Panjie of Himachal Pradesh visiting District Hospital Kishtwar for treatment were also suffering due to apathetic attitude of present government. |
