Forest Department launchs anti encroachment drive

Bhaderwah, May 22: Forest Department today launched an anti-encroachment drive against the people who illegally occupied the forest lands in the various parts of the Bhaderwah ,Bhalessa and Charalla.
According to press release, the department has also launched a drive against the timber smugglers in Bhaderwah town due to which it is far the first time that people in Bhaderwah town are using iron windows and doors in various constructions instead of wood.
Before this people of Bhaderwah were using wooden windows and doors in the construction of their houses but after continuous strictness in Bhaderwah town people are using iron .
There is only one timber selling depot in whole Bhaderwah town for thousands of populations due to which people are also facing lot of hardships .In charge Forester of Bhaderwah town Jangir Iqbal is also seen active in whole Bhaderwah town now a days along with his team and have launch crackdown against the forest mafia and all credit goes to him, local people added.
