SAMBA, May 22 : The department of Youth Services and Sports District Samba, today, organized Inter School District Level Football and Cricket Tournament U-14 yrs Boys at Samba. The tournament was organised under the supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Samba, Subash Chander Bhardwaj. While addressing the participants the DYSSO stressed the players to play more and more sports. The ZEPO Vijaypur Zone, Vijay Singh Slathia was also present on the occasion as Guest of Honour and boost the morale of the players.
The dignitaries present on the opening ceremony included Rakesh Verma, B. D. Sharma, Pardeep Singh and Raghubir Singh all are Zonal Physical Education Officers and Gaurav Abrol Director and Dogra Principal of MV International School. Total participants were 49 for football tournament. The matches were officiated by Anirudh Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Roopa Sambyal, Rekha Sambyal, Sandeep Singh, Shashi Bala, Vinod Sharma, Raj Singh Chib, Kulbir Singh, Dhanraj Singh, Navjyoti Slathia, Bhawna Koul Jr. Asstt., Mukesh Sharma Jr. Asstt., Dalbir Singh Jamwal and Zorawar Singh Sambyal.
Result of Cricket U-17 Boys was as in the Final match played between Samba Zone V/s Purmandal Zone, Purmandal Zone won the match by 06 wickets. Man of the match award was presented to Akash Koul and Man of the Series was also presented to Akash Koul. Results of Cricket U-14 Boys, in the Final match played between Ramgarh Zone V/s Vijaypur Zone , Ramgarh Zone won the match by 30 runs. In Football U-14 Boys, Final match was played between Vijaypur Zone and Ghagwal Zone wherein Vijaypur Zone won the match by 2-1. Shivraj Singh scored the winning goal for Vijaypur zone. Atish, Ushagar from M. V. International played very well. |
