Doda, May 22 : Everest Bhalessa registers win over Doda Warriors by 125 runs in the ongoing All India11th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2015, played at Sports Stadium Doda. The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Bn Doda, J&K Bank and Natnoo Furnishing House Doda. Earlier after winning the toss first, Everest Bhalessa elected to bat first. Batting first, Everest Bhalessa set a target of 164 runs for the loss of all their wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Mubarak was the highest scorer from Everest Bhalessa and scored 33 runs while Ishtiaq also contributed 32 runs for the team. From Doda Warriors, Parmod Thakur clinched 03 wickets while Ashraf and Rizwan shared 02 wickets each. In reply, Doda Warriors failed to chase down the target and were bundled out for just 39 runs in 9.5 overs game. Dinesh was the highest scorer after scoring 25 runs while Vishal Aryan contributed 17 runs for
his team. From Everest Bhalessa, Kewal Kotwal made fine bowling and scalped important 05 wickets while Yasir Rather took 03 wickets. Later on, Kewal Kotwal of Everest Bhalessa was declared as Man of the Match for his best bowling performance.
