NEW DELHI, May 31: Several parts of north India may witness rain over the next three days, brining down the soaring temperature and giving respite from the scorching heat, Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Sunday. "Many parts of northern India will experience thunderstorm from June 1 to June 3 due to western disturbance," said IMD director B P Yadav. The areas includes Delhi, NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, northern Rajasthan, and western Uttar Pradesh. Torrid weather conditions have been prevailing in north India for the past few days with heatwave sweeping across the region and mercury settling around 40 degrees celsius in most areas. |
