One killed, three injured as car skids off 6/4/2015 10:39:11 PM Banihal, May 4: One died and three others were injured when an alto car met with an accident near Rithan Bass- Banihal on Jammu Srinagar national highway. Police reports said, "The accident took place at 2 am when an alto car bearing registration number JK01W- 1229 on its way from Jammu to Srinagar suddenly skidded off the road and rolled down into a Nullah near Rithan Bass some four kilometers short from Banihal town resulting into death of one girl on spot and injuries to three other occupants of vehicle." Soon after the accident locals, police and traffic police rushed to the spot and shifted occupants of vehicle to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Banihal were the doctors declared one brought dead. The dead have identified as Fatiya Basir D/o Basir Ahmed of Srinagar while injured have been identified namely As Fayzal Basir s/o Basir Ahmed of Srinagar, Anjuman Meheraj s/o Meherajdin of Biemna Srinagar, Puesh Rasid s/o Abdul Rasid of Haidar pura Srinagar. Later the three injured referred to Srinagar Hospital for specialized treatment.
